How I Found Jesus

Romans 8:28- And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Proverbs 28:13- Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy.

Matthew 3:11- John answered them all, saying "I baptize you with water, but he who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie, He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire.

Exodus 3:2- The bush was burning, yet not consumed.

Matthew 10:27- I tell you in the dark you say in the light, and what you hear whispered, proclaim on the housetops.

Matthew 7:1- Do not judge others and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others.

Matthew 6:15- But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.

Matthew 18:20- For where 2 or 3 are gathered in my name, there I am among them.

Psalm 37:3- Trust in the Lord and Do Good

My Advice:

  1. Find out who Jesus is for yourself. Open your bible.

  2. Confess your sins. There is no room for pride in this relationship between you and God. We all will fall short. God will judge you based off the purity of your heart.

  3. Once you let Jesus in your heart, do not condemn yourself any longer for the mistakes you have made. Know that he has renewed you and though you are renewed, it does not mean you are perfect. You will fall again and again. All we can do is get up and keep trying to be better than who we were yesterday. Let God use your mistakes for good.

  4. Excepting Jesus in your life doesn't not make life easier, but makes anything and everything possible. It is a battle to be forgiving, selfless, loving and humble in a world filled with abuse and evil but it does help to replace anger, hurt, jealousy, and worry with hope, peace, love and joy. The more adversity we face, the stronger we become. We are warriors of God.

  5. Separate yourself from the Crowd. Be different and be confident about it. Social media does not define you. People do not define you. The world does not define you. GOD DEFINES YOU and you were born to stand out. Let people go. It will get lonely but know you are never alone. What is meant to be in your life WILL BE.

  6. Remember, Gods blessings do not always feel good in the moment. Open your heart and your mind to his blessings in disguise. Let God's fire purify you.

  7. Talk to God every chance you get. It doesn't have to be in a church, you can talk and worship God absolutely anywhere.
